Recommended Settings (Most Secure & Reliable – Use These First!)

Incoming Mail Server (IMAP) – Best choice for phones and multi-device use

  • Server: mail.bpsdesigns.com

  • Port: 993

  • Security / Encryption: SSL/TLS (or just "SSL")

  • Authentication: Password (Normal password)

  • Username: your full email address (e.g. name@yourdomain.com)

Outgoing Mail Server (SMTP)

  • Server: mail.bpsdesigns.com

  • Port: 587

  • Security / Encryption: STARTTLS (sometimes shown as TLS)

  • Authentication: Password (must be checked/enabled)

  • Username: your full email address

Alternative Settings (Only if the above doesn't work)

Incoming Mail Server (IMAP)

  • Port: 143

  • Security: STARTTLS

Outgoing Mail Server (SMTP)

  • Port: 465

  • Security: SSL/TLS

Quick Tips for Common Apps

  • Outlook / Windows Mail → Choose "Manual setup" or "IMAP" → use port 993/587 as above

  • iPhone/iPad (Apple Mail) → When adding account, select "Other" → IMAP → enter the details above (avoid letting it auto-change SMTP to port 25!)

  • Android (Gmail app or Samsung Email) → Add account → Other/Advanced → Manual setup → IMAP → use SSL/TLS on 993 and STARTTLS on 587

  • Thunderbird → It often auto-detects correctly when you enter your email + password — if not, use the manual settings above

Important Notes

  • Always use your current password (the one you use to log into the NEW webmail)

  • Make sure SSL/TLS or STARTTLS is enabled — plain/unsecured connections are not allowed

  • If you get a certificate warning → accept it (our certificate is valid, some older devices may warn)

  • Webmail access (for checking email in browser): https://webmail.bpsdesigns.com

If you run into any issues, reply to your migration email or open a support ticket — include a screenshot of the error message and which device/app you're using.
